Certificate of Deposit

United Bank offers a variety of time deposit accounts at competitive interest rates. A minimum of $500.00 is required for an opening deposit and to obtain the advertised Annual Percentage Yield. A substantial interest penalty may be assessed for early withdrawal. The following penalties would apply: 4% of the amount of the principal being withdrawn prior to maturity.  

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA)

United Bank offers savings accounts and certificates of deposit for retirement funds. A minimum of $250.00 is required for an opening deposit and to obtain the advertised Annual Percentage Yield. Anyone with earned income may be eligible to participate. Possible tax advantages could apply. A variety of IRA account types are offered, including (but not limited to) Traditional IRA, Spousal IRA, Rollover IRA, Conduit IRA and the ROTH IRA. Consult your tax advisor for specific information. A substantial interest penalty may be assessed for early withdrawal. The following penalties would apply: 4% of the amount of the principal being withdrawn prior to maturity.
